Just let the app know where you’re located and it gives you detailed information about the weather forecast for the next 6 days.
Plus, you can set your preferences so that you receive alerts about upcoming precipitation and severe weather, so you’ll never be caught without an umbrella again. For meteorology buffs, there’s even a built-in radar map.

Forecast Bar’s icon will always tell you the temperature and whether skies are clear. To get a more detailed view, simply click the icon. This will give you a day-by-day forecast of the days ahead.
To see the hourly forecast for a given day with wind direction and precipitation chance, just click on it. Clicking individual hours will give you even more information, including dew point and visibility. The top panel gives you information about the current hour; click it to open a panel that shows pressure, sunset times, and other supplemental info.
The “satellite” icon in the top left corner will bring up a live radar map of your area.
How many times have you been surprised by an unexpected downpour? In the app’s “Settings” menu, you can set up alerts so that showers never sneak up on you. Click the “Gear” icon at the bottom of the panel, then select “Notifications.” Use the checkboxes to set up notifications and audio alerts for precipitation, severe weather, and a daily weather forecast.
Under the “General” and “Appearance” tabs, you can adjust the app so that it looks and feels the way you want it to. Shift the app from the MenuBar to the Dock, change the temperature scale, and choose your preferred “climacons,” all from one convenient menu.
